Item identification only seems to have 2 options (on or off). I really like the option of having to identify the item before revealing it to players (when it is an item in the party sheet or in the character sheet. The only problem is that you cannot even view what items are within the library module for magic items.

I guess it is only a real issue when building new characters with pre-purchased stuff (not knowing what items are what without going to an external source).

Will Fantasy Grounds ever be changed to be completely opened within the library module and then not-identified once it is in a character sheet or party sheet (unless identified by the GM)? Ideally, it would always be identified if placed on the character sheet by a player and unidentified if from the party sheet or if placed by the GM. Not sure if that is possible or not.

Seems like a reasonable concept. Let me think about it a bit, and I'll look at adding to next version.
