I do apologize if this has been covered somewhere, but I can't connect my second instance of FG as a player to the GM session using localhost. The GM client shows that the player client connects, but then the player client crashes. I have the ultimate license and I a start the GM client via Steam and then the client from the program directory. I have tried running in administrator mode and win 7 compatibility mode with no success. People can connect to the game remotely with no problem. Any help would be appreciated.

1) Try clearing the player cache.
2) What modules are you sharing?

Not sure how to do #1 (sorry I'm new as you can probably tell).

Using Hoard of the Dragon Queen.

1) On the "Join Game" screen click the nuclear icon in the top right.
2) Don't share (allow access) The Hoard of the Dragon Queen module from module activation. Just manually share individual records (maps/images, story entries, etc.) as and when needed.

Also, are you using any cloud backup/sync software (Google Drive, OneDrive, DropBox, Box, etc.) pointing at your FG data directory? If so, don't - it can corrupt your FG live data.

Ok I am on to something. I loaded a different campaign and was able to join with no issues. Thanks for your help.
