Running at least 1 session of Rivalry's End this week for anyone who wants to come along. :)

See the Calendar for scenario/time details (https://www.fantasygrounds.com/calendar/index.xcp?id=1736)

Please post your character details, xml, portrait, PFS ID and previous chronicle (if any) in this thread. Thx.

HoloGnome - Been waiting for some middle tier games to come up, but already slotted in a CORE session this Friday at the same time. I will sign up to the event in the calendar in hopes you run it for a 2nd time slot. Thanks for all the time you give to GM'ing!

xazil
December 14th, 2015, 23:45
HG, I would like to come along but can't really make the time. If you started a couple hours earlier although I'd be able to fit it in.

Victor
December 14th, 2015, 23:48
A few of us(BK, Axit, Xazil, Vhok) that are in another later game could join if this game were 2 hours earlier, and we would have about 5 hours to play.
So I will also sign up on the calendar and see if another time is offered.
Thanks HG.

Some day, ocelots everywhere will, once again, be free.

I put up an alternate time, in case that is more workable.

What tier shall we run? I can bring any of these guys..

Hunter 4 / Ranger 5 / Sorcerer 5 / Warpriest 6 / Arcanist 7 / Magus 7

xazil
December 15th, 2015, 00:17
I'd either go Alchemist or Melee Druid 6 or I have a buffer/healer cleric type at 3rd. Or some other 5ths if needed to round out but would prefer to be in subtier.

aerine
December 15th, 2015, 02:54
Damn I cna't make those times, I've got another game :(

GM BK

i'm out so don't worry about me... this damn work thing getting in the way again :/

cmdisc
December 15th, 2015, 06:29
Ok, so now there are 3 of us interested, but we're tied up on the 18th with another game. I'm running part III of the Quest for Perfection as CORE. I didn't announce it to the community as the table is full of those that ran through parts I and II.

But if you ever offer another day that works for me (definitely not the 19th as I'm off to see StarWars), I'm all aboard.

As for the tier range, I have several that can work:

Flayr Simmerheart, Ifrit, Bard (Flamedancer) 3
Zak-Zak'Roh, Tengu, Monk (Zen Archer) 3
Dr. Grimwell Slag, Tiefling, Alchemist (Mindchemist) 3
Logus Blithe, Half-elf, Bard (Archaeologist) 6

kwarner1986
December 15th, 2015, 08:40
I can play on most evenings, but not Friday afternoons.

bigboom
December 15th, 2015, 12:33
I'm in the same boat as cmdisc and company. I'd be interested but can't do this timing as it conflicts with part 3. I don't have a level 3 character yet, but am happy to roll with a pregen.

I'll apply to the calendar just to express interest.

HoloGnome
December 15th, 2015, 15:24
Well...I didn't really look at the calendar before choosing a time. I can't run it tomorrow or Thursday. I guess I could run it today or on the weekend.

What level characters are we going to run?

kwarner1986
December 15th, 2015, 17:08
Saturday after 7pm or Sunday after 5pm would be nice.

I can bring:

Evelyn Frostburn
Human Sorceress 5
Ice/Force Damage, buffs, and control spells

Archer Skylord
Human Fighter (Archer) 3
Heavy Range DPS

Victoria Quincy
Elf Wizard (Transmutation) 3
All Knowledge Skills, Buff and control spells

Rebecca Mercer
Aasimar Cleric (Shelyn: Luck & Love) 7
Party Face, Healing, and Buff Spells

Diana Bladesting
Elf Rogue: Elven Curve Blade (Might be Level 8)
Trapfinder, High Damage Rogue

I put up a Saturday time. We'll see who can make that one. This run will be on the upper sub-tier, based on what I see above.

I am willing to run a 2nd table if there are enough sign-ups. First come, first served, per the priority below for the first table once we settle on a time.

Sign-up Priority:
1. BK
2. JWMK
3. xazil
4. Victor
5. aerine
6. cmdisc
---------------
7. kwarner
8. bigboom
9. AxitMaster
10. Ikemook

GM BK
December 15th, 2015, 19:33
Unfortunately, my Runelords campaign starts about an hour after the time you posted, so count me out. Thanks for trying! Much appreciated!

cmdisc
December 15th, 2015, 19:54
On Saturday Farnaby and I are going to see Star Wars. :) I bought his ticket and he puts up with the wife and 4 kiddos.

Not sure who is paying the higher price there. :p

Of course I jest. Obviously I pay the higher price. I mean we're talking about my wonderful, awesome, beautiful bride...

...what do you mean "Is she looking over your shoulder right now?" What could possibly give you that impression? :)

Victor
December 15th, 2015, 20:32
Tough scheduling, too many folks in campaigns these days. :)
Axit, Bk, Xazil, Kyle, and I are all in Runelords on Saturday at the time you have up. I don't know what your schedule is like but I will put up a couple of times that I know will fit for some of us.

ikemook
December 15th, 2015, 21:13
I'm interested, and could play in any one of the Sunday times. I'm already signed up for a Saturday game. I'd be playing a pregen, preferably something like the Investigator, but can play anything, really.

HoloGnome
December 15th, 2015, 22:33
Well...hopefully, there will be enough to put together a table for Saturday AM. I can run it again during the following week once the Lucas hysteria subsides. :D

Victor
December 16th, 2015, 00:29
Hey HG, does the Saturday PM time work for you at all or should I just plan on playing this after this weekend? (not paying Disney to go to some over-hyped movie that may suck)

HoloGnome
December 16th, 2015, 01:32
I don't know - maybe. It doesn't not work yet until I know more details. It really depends on signups. My preference is for Saturday AM, assuming there is a legal table. If my schedule is free and both tables are legal, then I might do both on Saturday...or wait. I don't know...at the moment, neither table is legal...yet.

GM BK
December 16th, 2015, 10:26
signed up with my 4th level warpriest, but i also have a 6th level druid or i could bring a pregen, if need be :)

bigboom
December 16th, 2015, 13:49
I've signed up. I don't have a character that high so I'll roll with a pregen

kwarner1986
December 16th, 2015, 15:24
If I can gather the pieces, I'll bring Rebecca, so we can do high teir. Otherwise, I might have to bring Evelyn.

HoloGnome
December 16th, 2015, 17:29
OK - it is doubtful that cmdisc would play in the middle of the night, but priority goes to cmdisc and aerine. If they are not playing, then there is room for kwarner and bigboom in that order in the first game. The only mitigating factor might be subtier. The first game will probably be subtier 6-7 and the 2nd game could be 3-4, for example, if people have characters in the latter range and prefer to wait.

So...cmdisc & aerine - please vote on the time on the calendar - thx!

cmdisc
December 16th, 2015, 20:06
Voted. Can't do, sorry. 3am Sunday outside of a CON isn't doable here. That's ok though. I was hoping for lower tier anyway. So if you end up running this again sometime, keep me in mind. :)

HoloGnome
December 16th, 2015, 20:08

Hey Kyle, of course I know all of your characters by heart, but for those that do not, what classes are Rebecca and Evelyn?
It looks like we have some arcane and divine already and we both will be adding to one of those. My Warpriest is an Archer if that helps, I think the other Divine casters are melee. I like playing the Arcanist or Magus more though.

On the other foot:
I have been thinking for awhile now that a fun, challenging way to play would be with absolutely no coordination of classes before a game, keep it hidden or secret then go with whomever shows up. If anyone wants to run games like that I would love it.

cmdisc
December 16th, 2015, 20:42
Another way to be challenging is for people to decide on their actions during combat without input from others. No kind of "if you go over there and do that on your turn, then I'll go here and do this on mine" sort of thing. So if you want to coordinate, you have to announce it during combat and make liberal use of Free Actions to talk and Readied Actions to set up combos.

That's a good thing to try to keep aware of since it often slips by the verisimilitude filters in our brains as we play. Of course, keeping it more lifelike can earn a guy a rep ya know. :)

OK - The first game will probably be subtier 6-7 and the 2nd game could be 3-4, for example, if people have characters in the latter range and prefer to wait.

Ah, I didn't realize there'd potentially be another session at a lower tier. In that case, I'll wait until the lower tier game is scheduled.

Update: Oh wait. I don't have a character for either tier, so I'll run a pregen no matter what tier is played. So I am OK to roll with the high tier game or low tier game, whatever has space! (sad to say the low tier game is still too high for my current characters...)

HG, just keep me on as an alternate and I'm happy to hop onto the high tier game if needed. Otherwise, I'll keep an eye out for when you schedule the lower tier game!

bigboom
December 17th, 2015, 18:06
OK, the time still works for me!

I think we've got:

Aerine: battle cleric?
JWMK: fighter
BK: melee druid
Kwarner: cleric or rogue
Victor: arcane or divine

I think I'll go with either a rogue or bard pregen. Kwarner, if you go with rogue, I'll run with a pregen bard. If you go with a cleric, then I'll run with the pregen rogue.

What do you guys think?

GM BK
December 17th, 2015, 18:22
My druid can cast while in beast shape, so i'll be able to heal a little bit as well.

HoloGnome
December 17th, 2015, 20:05
Anyone who doesn't have a character of the appropriate level can play a Pregen/7. I think we have Jirelle, Amiri, Kyra, Seelah, Seoni and Yoon. If you want a different one, you will need to build it by Saturday (including a Bard/7 or Rogue/7).

Also, I will add that this scenario is very challenging on the upper sub-tier, so you will need to be on your toes!

GM BK
December 17th, 2015, 20:55

I would like to know what class is Gundred/Aerine is and what class Kyle is bringing.

kwarner1986
December 18th, 2015, 05:36
I'll bring Rebecca. Aasimar Cleric of Shelyn

HoloGnome

bigboom
December 18th, 2015, 18:52

OK - I'll try to take a look. Just make sure you have the basic effects set up - like flanking and also her precision damage.

Sneak Attack; DMG:4d6 precision
You can set the scope to either 1 roll.

etc.

Also - would be good to have effects for her gear: CMW, Alchemist's Fire, Tanglefoot Bag, Potion of Invis, etc.

aerine
December 18th, 2015, 20:30
Gundred is my only character that can run on this level. She does not have selective channel, however, will heal after combat, or will damage undead in battle. Running much more on a battle cleric than a touchy healy type. :) Think Valkyrie

You might say that...

kwarner1986
December 20th, 2015, 18:26
Here's the problem going forward, we can't use funds from reward we haven't received yet, so we have to pay for it completely up front. That's where our problem lies. We need 20,000 gp and we definitely don't have that upfront.

12,000gp to get back into the dang casino
8,000gp to bring my character back

If with the druid and victor's vast funds, I don't think they can cover that. I don't have extra coins and we have a pre-gen rogue who can't help either.

On a second note, I don't feel like wasting my time on a second session for this scenario. I'm not having fun with it and that's the point of doing pathfinder. I'm certainly not going to give up 5 hours of my personal time to be patronized for my character dying when I thought there were several other bone headed plays.

I am certainly not willing to sell my gear to come back for a second time in one mission and I'm not going to sit here and let Victor and BK dump 4,000gp just to bring me back again for us only to fail the mission later.

Mark my character as dead and it's up to you five weather or not you want to continue forward at your own peril.

HoloGnome
December 20th, 2015, 21:47
Sorry that happened - it's never good to receive an unexpected critical hit from a tough opponent on the upper sub-tier, it's not fun, and it's up to you whether or not to continue. It was an unfortunate outcome that depended on a number of factors. Beyond that, it was also incredibly unlucky, and I, for one, at least, am certainly not making light of it.

In the first instance, players split the party against very tough enemies, where weaker characters moved to the front lines, including Rebecca (and she chose not to channel right away). In the second instance, the party had a great plan and more than enough capability and resources (through good planning) to handle the fight, but didn't exactly stick to the plan or adjust to changing variables in time, split the party again and, again, ended up with vulnerable characters (Rebecca, for the second time) on the front lines.

Rebecca's Shield Other was a good choice, but maybe needed more communication for maximum protection and damage sharing to ensure everyone understood how it should be managed or better logistical casting (cast first and stay out of harm's way with a spell that Rebecca would have known had an effective range of 55' at her level so that she wouldn't need to be at the front line). So, I don't agree with placing all the blame on others. There were some mistakes all around that opened the door to chance. Better overall battle communication, adjusting to the combat as it developed and not splitting the party would have easily handled the enemies the second pass (and are generally good strategies) and would have probably helped on the first pass.

The party needs Rebecca. Also, she is a special, difficult-to-replace racial character and should not be left as dead, if at all avoidable (and it is potentially avoidable in this case). So, please sleep on it - maybe you'll change your mind. You have beaten the enemies and there is no barrier to the party's proceeding. The party has almost 28K in gold and there is plenty of gold in the reward with only small impact overall to accomplish the raise dead. The cost is 5450 + (1280x2) = 8010. So, there's no issue with gold.

If the party wants to go forward, then, as I said last night, all of you really need to be on your toes. You have been told that you face a dangerous opponent by the VCs. So, use good battle tactics, try to communicate well, adapt during battle, and avoid splitting the party, albeit where splitting sometimes requires evaluation on a case-by-case basis (but generally not a good idea).

Sorry about the death. I thought you guys had it well in hand on the 2nd pass. As GM, I would have preferred a different outcome and pretty much played it by the book.

GM BK
December 20th, 2015, 22:02
Sorry to hear that Kyle :( but if you change your mind, the offer still stands.

As far as continuing this goes... i'm still in if it fits within my schedule. As Holo pointed out though, that for us to continue, we'll be without a healer, so we'll need to exit the dungeon again so we can adjust our prepared spells and such. Currently, I don't have any Cure spells memorized, so that would only leave Gundred as our healer and I'm not sure what she has memorized. I have access to CLW and CMW, and I have a wand of CLW as well so I think between the two of us, we should be able to cover the party's needs.

It's up to you folks though. I'm up for the challenge if everyone else is :)

HoloGnome
December 20th, 2015, 23:58
If Kyle wants to drop and leave Rebecca dead (hope not), another player is welcome to join with a pregen such as Kyra/7 (probably the best choice as a replacement in this instance), for example, for reduced rewards for a missed session per PFS rules. You can rendezvous with the recent arrival from Absalom at the Cypher Lodge. I'm not sure of my schedule/availability over the next week or so, as I mentioned. So, plenty of time to make a final decision.

December 21st, 2015, 03:37
Hey all, If you have not played this scenario you should avoid this thread. its kind of spoilerish, and this post gets moreso.

I was under the impression that even though we could not use the gp from the scenario we are on, that we could reimburse after the mission to those that donate to a resurrection. Thats 1 point.
Another point is I seriously doubt we need all that cash just go get in the casino. There did seem to be other ways in and, to my mind, there has to be.

As far as bringing Rebecca back goes, I see this as 2 issues, money and desire.
Kyle, even if we can not be reimbursed from this mission, I would gladly donate whatever you need to bring that hot *** amar back to life. She has saved me many times. I was saving up for an upgrade to my Headband. whoopie, 12k for 2 more Int, like I really need a 26 in Int to kick ***... :) Donating to save you would maybe take me one extra scenario to get it. I couldn't care less about the gear, I really like Rebecca. So as far as the gp concerns go, forget them. I know I would not be the only one donating too so its even less of a thing for you to worry about.
On the other side of the coin is whether or not you want to finish this scenario so that you can revive Becky. I can't convince you to enjoy yourself :), but I can say give it a week or so until we set a time for the next game and then see if you feel like keeping her alive and continuing.

This next bit is all beside the point of this post, which is to try to save Rebecca, but this debrief is fun to go over.

The how and why it went tits up hardly matters, but a good debriefing helps avoid mistakes next time. I feel I could have done much better adjusting to the fluid situation If I had used my Dimensional Slide to get to the baddies faster and take them down, rather than let you guys melee with them so long. Then I told Gundred to back up, and she did, but I was not too cognizant of the turn order and that instruction would leave Becky exposed to the bad guy who had a turn before I could act. I also could have meta gamed it a bit and just hit him that first round when I moved in, but I was playing it straight and had to vanish and move out of the cloud first, I could not have 'known' that he was in reach in one move. Anyhow, there is no blame, there never is, there is only learning to do it better next time.

re: Getting In - The party has not attempted or asked about any other way so far.

re: Using Resources -
Please note that players can (and are encouraged to) share or pool their resources in order to bring a dead party member back to life.

re: Debriefing - Well said. All parties benefit and learn from good communication, good planning, and teamwork. Mistakes in the heat of battle happen to everyone. Sometimes they matter and sometimes they don't and hindsight is always 20/20. One of the interesting challenges of PFS is learning to play different classes and archetypes and synchronizing as a team over the course of a single adventure with others whom you may or may not know. It takes practice, and is hopefully fun as a learning process, even when things don't necessarily go as planned.

Finally, some scenarios are harder than others. As I mentioned before the game (Post #46 (https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?27269-PFS-4-23-Rivalry-s-End-(Subtier-3-7-NORMAL-1XP-2PP)&p=244315&viewfull=1#post244315)), this one is on the tough side in the upper sub-tier -- but still very do-able for alert and prepared parties.

Hey HG, you don't seem to have gone away yet and are posting more games with no time slots. Are you going to be able to post some possible times for us to finish this up? Seems we may be missing some opportunities to wrap it up here.

Given our current sign ups; a druid, an arcanist and a fighter... i think there still might be a chance. we'll have melee and ranged dps, and I can switch to heal mode... if gundred is able to make it, we might just be able to pull it off, provided we all brought our A game and played smart. maybe grab some potions of healing while we're resting up for our third and final run. some cheap scrolls for extra buffs might not be a bad idea either. not willing to give up while i got a fat sack of cash i can spend :)

Being a continuation, we should have everyone in so they don't take a zero on this Chronicle and this is the one where we start off by raising Rebecca or she sho nuff dead.

GM BK
January 3rd, 2016, 20:29
Ya, and I agree, and I am ok with waiting as well, but it has been a couple weeks now so we should look at finishing this up soon. There's also a chance I may need Dregga for a Bonekeep run. Not sure when that is, but if he's still locked in this one, I'll have to take a pregen. if not tonight, maybe sometime in the next week?

January 3rd, 2016, 20:41
HG says Rivalry's End will run before Bonekeep, see his post in the Bonekeep thread for more on this.
I am available for sometime during the week as well, I would even get up early sso we could get this done, early as in 8 or 9am, not early as in 4am. 4am is late. :)

Ok, confirmed... ya, I'll need to bail right a the 3.5 mark. Sorry! But ya, I think that should be enough time if we're focused, which we should be. I'll get my shopping list together tonight, so I'm ready right out the gate :)

Looks like everyone is signed up for Monday the 4th except for kwarner1986. Does anyone know if he is out because he doesn't want to play his char or that his schedule is off? If it is schedule, do we want to play on or wait for him? If he isn't interested in playing, do we have time to have someone to play a cleric (pregen) or something? I worry about our success without a cleric.

I don't know what the rules are about this, but I am OK to switch from the rogue pregen to the cleric pregen. If it means I do not get a chronicle reward or a reduced reward, then that's fine. For this scenario, I'm more interested in just playing and seeing it through to the end than the reward.

Last I heard he was planning on finishing resurrecting Rebecca and finishing the mission with us. I did drop him a PM and asked him to post some times he is available on the calendar. I know it is tough to keep waiting but I am ok with it if everyone else, and Kyle, is.
If it comes down to HG needing to finish this up so characters can move on, that may be another story. My guy is fine in limbo for the foreseeable future, he will be too high after this for Bonekeep. :)

Hey guys
Scheduling to finish this up seems to be a real problem. I have a couple of suggestions.
1. We play even if we are one person down. That person would have to get a 0xp chronicle, and in the case of Kyle, a death.
2. We set a date, and if the game is not played by then, we give up. At least that way we are not holding up Bonekeep

I have worked hard to try and be in a position to say YES to every time slot that has been posted. And hope to be able to do so moving forward. I do think that we need to establish an acceptable quorum at this point of 5/6 players being present. I think there have been 3 or 4 slots that have been in that position that we have missed, and I would really like to finish this with everyone, but I also don't want to wait forever. I didn't even realize that the characters are locked in until it came up in Bonekeep. If that wasn't the case, I would say wait for everyone, but if they are indeed locked-in, we do need to make this happen.

Just saw the time posted for Friday 11AM EST. I'll vote yes, but I've got a hard stop at the 2 hours, 55 minute mark, which I'm guessing is probably do-able.

Also, I asked HG about the possibility of switching to a different pregen mid-game and since we've exited out in order to rest and recover, I can do so but at a loss of whatever rewards Merisiel has already gathered.

I don't mind the rewards loss if switching to a different pregen would make the group stronger as a whole. Any opinions?

Kyle isn't available tomorrow, how about Sunday?

We will eventually get this game finished. :)

Hey HG, I can see this same kind of scheduling issues with the 2 other games you posted with signups and groups set but no times. Kind of putting the cart before the horse as it were. I think Bonekeep will be easier to schedule because a few of us are in a group and we would forego our group and play it on the weekend, but one never knows. It's much easier to sign up for a time, then play with who can make it, like we did for the first part of this game. Of course it's up to you how you want to do it and I will still sign up and just keep up with the voting, but thought I would suggest going back to the standard way of setting up a group.

Nah - no cart before the horse. The parties are assembled and will find a time when it's time to run. There's no rush and if other shuffling is necessary to facilitate time zone issues, that's fine.

As for Rivalry's end, we'll just have to keep looking and everyone should try to be as flexible as possible given the time zone skew and in the interest of completing the game.

Unfortunately, I am not really very free this weekend. Sunday AM is possible. I put up a 10AM pacific time, but that's still too late for bigboom (since it would be his Monday AM at 1AM). I put up earlier times on Sunday, but BK, at least, cannot make those.

Is it possible for you and BK to start your campaign tonight at 5PM Pacific/8PM Eastern? We could theoretically put up a time for 2-3PM Pacific/5-6PM Eastern for Rivalry's End and might be able to finish, depending on how much time might be available...or at least put any left-over into a tiny slot that should be easier to map. No pressure - just asking...up to you...and not sure what others could make it.

So you really enjoy this and think this is the best way to go about setging up a game, checking and trying every day to find a time? Well, it's up to you how you do things, you always did enjoy cat herding, now you can do it every day.

Like today. I just got up and it's less than 2 hours before game time. if we decide to postpone our game so that we can try to fit in Rivalry's End, do you think you could get everyone ready to jump in a game in under 2 hours?

Putting up a game with no time and setting groups that then spend weeks trying to find a game time, checking in every day, staying up late or getting up early to try to accommodate others is ludicrous. What is going to happen if people can not coordinate is that people will drop so that they are not the ones holding up the game.

I would much prefer a set time when I sign up for a game. If you like, I can do a poll. I'll wager a large majority would prefer it that way.

Oh, and we got a NO vote from someone on a later start, not that it would have mattered at this point.

May I suggest that we take a couple of minutes before we get started to ensure we have some solid communication setup to prevent any further deaths on our side. JWMK - Is your game day before this Saturday or after?

In any normal situation I would decline to play an early morning Saturday game before my normal Saturday game. However, I will give this another shot if people can gather this Saturday, but we will only have about 3 hours total. I will put up a time on the calendar.

JWMK - If the game does not go off, I would say call it a scrub and free up our PCs. If I had a game I wanted to play Izzy in I would not hesitate to bail on this one rather than play a pregen in another game. I am fine with that and assume the others are too.

When we figured it out before people came up with different numbers. I go with what the GM tells me it costs. BK and I can cover it until the end of mission when we are allowed to be reimbursed somewhat from the others, or cover it entirely if it turns out to be a fail.
However... Kyle has said he can not show up tomorrow morning and thus we may not be resurrecting Rebecca. We are not postponing again unless we are missing more than one person.

But if you ever offer another day that works for me (definitely not the 19th as I'm off to see StarWars), I'm all aboard.

As for the tier range, I have several that can work:

Flayr Simmerheart, Ifrit, Bard (Flamedancer) 3
Zak-Zak'Roh, Tengu, Monk (Zen Archer) 3
Dr. Grimwell Slag, Tiefling, Alchemist (Mindchemist) 3
Logus Blithe, Half-elf, Bard (Archaeologist) 6

The higher sub-tier run is now complete. There are 3 of you signed up for the lower sub-tier run. If anyone else is interested, please add your name to the calendar here:

Just about any day works for me in the evenings GMT (6pm to 9pm start times are workable). I plan to be running a session either on the 12th, 13th, or 15th although I haven't nailed down a specific day yet. The 14th is out for obvious reasons...assuming I would like to remain happily married. :)

For characters, the only things I have in range right now are either a Tengu Zen Archer, a Tiefling Alchemist, or an Ifrit Flamedancer bard. All of them are 3rd level and none built for the front line. My preference would be the Alchemist as he probably packs the biggest punch and offers a lot of Knowledge skills. The Flamedancer can sing to allow everyone to see through smoke/fog and then cast about with an Obscuring Mist wand (assuming successful UMD checks). The archer would just shoot stuff. Pretty straight forward there.

If none of these work, I'm fine with playing a L4 pregen to fill whatever role the party needs.

Ike - it won't be this weekend...and it would be a pregen/4, since we are playing at sub-tier 3-4. ;)

I'm game, then. A level 4 pregen would be best, anyway.

Ah, my apologies, HG. I thought I posted my character info several pages back. It looks like I've only talked about possibilities.

So rather late, but here is Dr. Grimwell's xml and latest Chronicle.

This game is starting now and we still have room for more players. Hop on Teamspeak and join my server alias. We are playing at sub-tier 3-4!

You can cap it at 500gp and apply it to Level 1. It was a Pregen/4 credit. Items will be available right away, boons will be available when you reach level 3.

Congrats on the mission success everyone - fun game! Nooooooooo!!! Don't take my haversack!!!!!!! Haha! :D

I have reported this game on Paizo.com.

You had me worried there for a while. Most of his valuables that he wasn't wearing were in that Haversack. Next time I'll stick something important in a pocket. If he runs off with my pants, I can easily replace those. :p

The only thing I had listed on his NOTES tab for purchases was the 80gp worth of clothing and jewelry. If you haven't hammered out his Chronicle yet, please add Cloak of Resistance +1 for 1000gp and 2 Stillguts vials for 50gp each; total of 1180gp for everything.

Also, sort of a rules question; if he hit an invisible target with Marker Dye, does it still show up to point out which square the invisible creature is in? Or does it become invisible too?

There may be some GMs who would run off with your haversack and decimate your character, but I am not one of them. That was a pretty interesting rugby match while you sweat bullets. ;)

However, it was not in your possession and it really came down to motivation, freedom of action, ability to be tracked/scryed, etc. ...and was maybe also a kind of non-consenting PvP issue, since it was not in your control. But...it's pretty clear, Grimwell needs more Jedi mind training. :D Hehe.

My take: Marker Dye is non-magical and negated by invisibility while it's touching an enemy (skin/clothes). However, if you splash it around and an enemy were to walk in it or get it on their shoes or feet, they would make tracks for some distance - like walking in wet paint. Also, if you splashed it on an unknown enemy and they later became visible elsewhere, they would have a hard time denying their presence at the scene without magical remediation/cleanup.
