Is there a non-tedious way (i.e. other than copy and paste) to import the monsters from the PRD to an FG module? I know I should just spend the money and get the addons but I'm cheap like that. Or is this some kind of copyright infringement?

Pathfinder? There are already modules of all the monsters. Look at sticky threads in the 3.5e/PF section of these boards. The community modules thread has links to most of the modules people have made from the PRD and SRD.

As Nickademus says, look in the "List of Modules" sticky thread in the 3.5E/Pathfinder system forum.

You can also use the Pathfinder Creature Parser to create FG NPC modules: https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?20522-Pathfinder-Creature-Parser-V2-Beta-Version

Thx a ton for the guidance Trenloe, just one small question. I know the ones that are .mod go in the module folder but where do I put the ones that are .xml (such as the random encounter one, and the book of the damned) ?

These were packaged slightly differently by the module developer. There is usually info in the thread (somewhere) about how to rename them - for example, the .zip files in the book of the damned thread need to be renamed to .mod.

hate to keep bugging you guys, next problem, I have some maps from pdf's that I have gotten off of paizo and was going to convert them into modules for practice, problem is when i copy the maps the room numbers and stuff come with them. I have Gimp and I saw a video a while back on how to get rid of the numbers but I can't remember. Any ideas?

I believe this (https://www.fantasygrounds.com/filelibrary/tutorial/xorne-rescale-1a.wmv) is the video you are referring to.
