Is there a help file or PDF? I could swear I have seen mention of one, but I cannot find it.

There aren't any PDFs or Help files though.

Edit: You should start with the basic User Guides and work you way down. Functionality in modern FG rulesets waterfalls down from the Core Ruleset to various other rulesets. IE for D&D 3.x it's Core -> 3.5 -> Pathfinder. You don't have to learn the core ruleset but its features are largely inherited by 3.5. If you get stuck on something ask in the 3.5 forums.
