how do i get started

I just heard about this and would like to join a game. I don't know how to join or what i need. I already have most of the books. (not Out of the abyss)

To join a game, the minimum you need is the Free/Demo client, and a GM who is using the Ultimate License.

Both the LFG forum https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?40-LFG-Looking-for-Group-%28formerly-Guild-House%29 and the Game Calendarhttps://www.fantasygrounds.com/calendar/?sort=name&sortdir=ascending&ruleset=D%26D+5E&sort=isrunning&sortdir=ascending are good places for the latter.

For the former, if you have Steam, you can download it from there (available for all Platforms). If not, you can find a link in the store above, but you're probably better off (for these purposes) using Steam.

FGDAZE -an online convention for Fantasy Grounds just around the corner- is the perfect opportunity to try out a game, and meet other players and GMs that can lead to a steady group.
