Looks like the biggest table I can make is 100, and it follows standard die conventions. Is it possible to do a 115 row table? if so, how?

Using the + button menu at the bottom of the campaign tables window, the largest number of rows it will create for you automatically is 100. (and even then, it can have steps of up to 20; i.e. table rolling from 1-2000).

To add more rows than 100, you can click on the edit button (brown slash) near the top of the table detail record, and click the plus button to add additional rows.

Depending on what you are trying to add, it may make sense to create the tables in XML in a module, so you can use copy/paste.

Just out of curiosity why do you need 115 rows and how were you proposing to roll dice for 115?

Odd - my reply did now show up.

JPG - thanks, that helps. Though I did not see the ribbon, editin the xml worked just fine. Thank you.

Zacchaeus - I realized I did not put any context, sorry about that. I'll try and be more clear. I am using the card extension: https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?23099-Basic-Card-Tables-Extensions

I can see have any number of rows when using this extension. FG does roll a d70, it just does not display the die images.

Type "/die 1d115" into the chat box to see how it works.

Indeed, but a table requires that you place dice in the dice window in order to make the roll and I was just about to say that you can't get to 115 with even numbered dice but I have just remembered that you can roll a custom dice. So I suppose you could do 1d100 + 2d6 + 1d3. But that wouldn't give you the range 1-115, Anyway, I was just curious.

No it doesn't. If you don't put any dice in the box, and just click the die icon, it rolls 1dX, where X is the largest entry you have in the table.

FG automatically rolls dice (or random number generates) the correct number to allow random selection from the rows in the table. You don't have to add dice manually nor are you limited to numbers generated by regular dice. But, if you want to use dice (e.g. 2d6 for a non-linear bell curve) you can manually add them to the table.

See the second screenshot in the basic card extension post #1: https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?23099-Basic-Card-Tables-Extensions This shows that the table will use 1d15 to select an active row from the table, as 1d15 isn't a normal dice, FG will use the LUA random number generator to generate the 1-15 number.

Hi,

I'm using the FGU with the Rolemaster Ruleset and I created a table with 108 lines.
But when I launch the dice it shows d100. I tried with a number of choices below 100 and it works fine 45 entries and it makes a d45 throw.
Did I miss something or is there a specific upper limitation due to the Rolemaster System?

Edit : after some tests : the dice on the top of the table throws a d100 High (relaunch d100 and add if higher as 96)
Thanks for your help.

Regards

Now being discussed here: https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?77435-Table-over-100-dice-throw

Please only post one thread regarding an issue. Closing this thread as the issue seems to be related to the Rolemaster ruleset implementation.
