Sorry, not sure if this the right place to post this or if it should go in the 5E forum, as I'm not sure if it's ruleset-specific or not.

Sometimes when I add PCs and NPCs to the CT they get a little bubble in the corner of their token. I've seen "2.0" beside some NPCs and "0.5" beside some PCs but not all the time. I've read the user guides and watched some vids but I don't think these numbers are referenced, or else I've just missed it. What do they mean?

Welcome to the community and forums! AFAIK that is the scale the token is on the map

If you have scaling on, iirc, that is the adjusted size of that token to the map grid scale.

If you hold down ctrl and mouse wheel up or down over the bubble, the token on the map will change in size.

It makes life a lot easier if you happen to be using different size tokens since it will scale them to fit the square/hex.
