Hi.
looking to join a game that isn't necessarily a full campaign . Something short that I can learn to play. Have read the 5E rule set . I have FG and know how it works. So far I have only seen full campaigns offered. I would hate to join one and hold people back. Any suggestions would be most welcome .

Hey Octavious,

Last weekend we ran FG Con 7 - we had 48 sessions of one off games - that would have been perfect for you.
In any event - dont let your newness hold you back - just let the GM that you are talking to know you are new.
Keep an eye o this thread and apply to games being hosted/posted.

If you are wanting to get a taste for things dont limit yourself just to D&D - there are some GMs that regularly run Savage Worlds one shots too and these will be a great intro actual gaming. You wil meet people who may lead to more gaming opportunities too.

Check out https://extraordinarygamers.com and https://www.morgentalerdm.com/ as well for some scheduled games running.

You may want to add your time zone and available days/times to your signature so that potential GM's know if you fall within their session times.
