Hero Lab to Fantasy grounds transfer

This is probably covered somewhere else in the forums but I have no idea where to look so here goes. I have a purchased copy of Hero Lab with the pathfinder ruleset. I also have a "standard" i guess, paid but not ultimate, version of fantasy grounds. After I export my character out of herolab using the .hlfg format and changing that to an xml, or when i just export it as an .xml when i go to import it into FG the chat window says it is successful but there is no character in my character selection window. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

That helped out a ton, thx Trenloe, just wasn't sure where the "importer" program was. On another note do you know of a good site that goes over the format for making events? Like a rangers favored enemy bonus or a rogues sneak attack?
