Full Auto Fire

Ok, so I am stuck on how to work out full auto fire. For players, it is rolling the wild die with each shot but I can't work out how to turn it off. I have a feeling this will be embarrassingly obvious but I can't work out how to do say, 3 x shooting die plus one wild die. The wild die settings seem only to work for npcs?
