Is anyone making new backgrounds? Or perhaps a template for doing so?

I'd love to add a few backgrounds, hopefully with drag and drop capability. Does anyone have a means of doing so that could be shared?

You should be able to make custom backgrounds using Par5e as long as its formatted correctly to work with it. It might take some trial and error, but start by going through the par5e tutorial specifically for backgrounds, and editing sections of existing ones to see what will and will not work from your own creations.

This will allow drag-and-drop functionality that you seek :)

I'm using Par5e to create a bunch for my HârnMaster to 5E conversion. There will be about 60+ of them when I get done. Not sure they would fit in a high fantasy campaign though.

Yeah, using Par5e was pretty easy to get in game versions of the Mulmaster and Hillsfar backgrounds, so custom ones should be just fine.

Here's the format for an example background saved to backgrounds.txt:

I'd love to see some sort of shared, Par5e-able archive of peoples home-brew (if they are willing to share). We'd have to make some way to make sure the right people get credit for it, but it would be a great way to jump-start other-peoples campaigns and home-build stuff.
