So I'm wanting to know if any of the modules include things like the Unearthed Arcana Eberron content, or the Awakened Mystic. If not, is this stuff par5e-able without doing any big out-there trickery magic?

Also, while I'm in a thread, if I buy on steam modules and the monster manual, but I have unlimited license just through FG.com, can I still access that stuff from Steam, or do I need to stay on one platform?

i dont believe there is any eberron or unearthed arcana licensed material available.
ill pass on the par5e commentary - it can be done but I dont have the time for that activity

you can mix and match. steam purchased dlc will not work on a mac at this time - mac dlc should be bought from this website. otherwise mix and match as required.

None of the modules out there right now have Unearthed Arcana stuff in them.

You should be able to par5e out modules for the class stuff they've released so far. The most pertinent question is one of value. Are you just looking to make a Mystic PC? If that's the case, it probably makes more sense to just enter your choices directly onto the character sheet - the character sheet already supports highly custom abilities, and modules don't add any new functionality to the ruleset itself. Or are you hoping to make a module that your friends or players could easily use to create a multitude of Unearthed-Arcana-based characters? Then it starts to make sense to draft up a module.

As for the DLC, I'm not entirely sure. As far as Fantasy Grounds is concerned, I'm pretty sure all you have to do is log into Steam on the computer you have FG installed on, go into the updater options and check the box to check steam for DLC, and then run the update. I know there are caveats, though, for the Mac platform. But I'm thinking that Steam might actually get in your way - I seem to recall you can't buy DLC for games you don't own on steam.

I'll also take this opportunity to plug the Unearthed Arcana: Vitality extension I made. :-D

You can buy it on Steam. Technically it's the same platform. As long as you're using Windows you can get content from either Steam or from fantasygrounds.com. Just make sure the box is checked in your Fantasy Grounds client to check Steam for DLC.

Perfect, I am on a Windows PC so shouldn't be an issue there by the sounds. Cheers

I have grabbed that vitality extension along with a couple other ones I came across in the sticky up top. Some awesome stuff so far, and I'm loving it!
As to the unearthed question, my group has been keen to try the unearthed stuff after our current campaign, but I see what you mean about just filling out the sheet. As long as everyone gets the PDF then I guess the rules dont need to be readily available ON Fantasy Grounds, was more just a complete-package hope that they might be in the one program heh.

Awesome. Quick question to all who seem to know, once it's checked steam once is it always available and linked to the FG account I have installed on FG, or do I need to check steam every time I log on/start launcher? Also, if that is the case, will that effect playing locally?

I believe if you bought the license on this website, then you need to activate it on steam so you can buy DLC there. How to do that is in a sticky on the Steam forums: https://steamcommunity.com/app/252690/discussions/2/558755530621472814/

How does this work with the ultimate license subscription (which is what I am running). I tried to put the key in but it didn't accept it, I assume since Steam doesn't normally handle subscription based things.

Edit: (strange how this reply posted straight away but the other one needs to be moderated. I did reply to everyone I swear!)

What happens is that once every 4-6 weeks all the keys from here get synced up to Steam. Steam keys sync back here pretty much straight away.
Your sub will sync up the same way - it just doesnt happen straight away.

I'm trying to add the Mystic class to a character, but the Hit Dice field is grayed out. I cannot set the Hit Dice for the class for some reason. The Wiki is of no help.

Hopefully a few questions to help figure out or get more info.

Are you adding the class in the Class Detail window?

Have you tried dragging a 3D die onto the HD field?

Cheers,

Drag a die to the field I believe, and Welcome to the forums and Community!

Good to know. I couldn't find that info anywhere in the wiki or tutorials.
