Hello!

A friend and I are really wanting to get into playing with 'Fantasy Grounds'.

We tried to get into pathfinder once but were unsuccessful at the time, because we were new.

Any resources I should look into would be appreciated!

Thanks!

(I'm not sure where to post this, so I apologize for double posts)

Are you looking for info just for 5e in general or for adventurers league organized play?

I'm interested in getting into D&D for the first time on Fantasy Grounds. If any one will have an absolutely brand new player then I would join. I am interested in D&D and I don't really know much about Pathfinder.

MODERATOR: Moved to 5E thread as I believe this is not specific to Adventurer's League organized play.

I take it from your post that you haven't purchased the software yet, so I would suggest that your first port of call might be to head over to the wiki (https://www.fantasygrounds.com/wiki/index.php/Videos) and watch some of the videos showing you what the software can do. It's much harder to summarise Dungeons and Dragons however. What I would suggest is that you keep an eye on this post here (https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?25465-FG-Con-7-October-16th-18th-2015) and you and your friend should join up for one (or more) of the games once they are announced. This would give you a pretty good idea of how Fantasy Grounds works in practice as well as giving you an insight into how the 5e system also works (or any other system that you sign up for).
