Hi

I've seen a video where a man write, for example :
Axe: 1d8+2

And after, the cursor of the mouse become yellow, he drag & drop this to the chat, and the dices roll automaticly.

Is there a shortcut to do that with the mouse ?
Because i can't do it.

That's part of the parsing functionality of FG, sometimes you have to click on another object for the parser to run.

What ruleset are you using? Are you trying to store this roll definition somewhere (PC, NPC)?

If you just want to roll 1d8+2: Click on the modifiers box below the chat window and type 2 pickup the d8 below the chat window and drag it to the chat window. The d8 will roll and 2 will be added to it. 1d8+2.

If you're using CoreRPG and you want to setup ability rolls with dice, watch this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BG9ovku3T48 Adding dice is specifically shown starting at 6:40, but I'd recommend you watch the whole video as it gives a very good guide to what can be done in the base CoreRPG.

Yes, i've seen it in a video about the coreRPG.
But i can't seek all the conversation. (I'm French)
I'll take a look at this one.
Thanks.

To add dice to the ability in the Core RPG ruleset, create the ability first and then click/drag the dice you want to add and drop it on the ability. This will add the dice. You can then click on the modifier field and enter any modifiers to add to the dice. Then you can either double click the dice icon in the ability to roll, or drag/drop to the chat window.
