New to D&D - Looking for a 5e group

I'm new to d&d but have always been interested in trying to get involved in it. I've seen some games played so I have a general feel for it. Looking for a group playing 5e that doesn't mind a newbie joining. Anytime on yge weekends or weekday evening (7 or later CST) would work best due to work

I'm new to FG and haven't really played much in a while, but I am going to try and DM a game, probably Lost Mines of Phandelver, on Tuesdays EDT around 6-7PM. I'd guess 3ish hour sessions. I'll have a learning curve too, but I think there are couple veterans wanting to play too, so it could be a good mix of things. Shoot me a PM and I'll let you know when I get closer to being set up. I'm not gonna force you to run the pregen characters, but not gonna let anything crazy through either. Chat will be on Teamspeak

Thanks damned, I've run a few encounters from LMoP already and the combat tracker seems to be fairly intuitive (after I figured out the targeting that is). I'll fumble a few times I'm sure, which is why I want some experienced people with me to say "Hey Dumbass!!!". After a couple of those I should be in decent shape, maybe even parse or write my own adventure, I wish I still had the ones I wrote in the 80's, I made about 5 back then, and they all ran fairly well

I'm running cult of the Dragon queen and rise of tiamat every Monday 6pm till 9pm eastern standard. I need more players. PM me if interested I'm a new dm to fantasy grounds. So bare with my learning curve.

Unfortunately, I wouldn't be able to make those times. Earliest I could do on weekdays would be 7 central standard, due to work. Thank you for the offers though. If something changes time wise, let me know.

If you can make FGDaze look for Gemina Maleficus, You'll need to contact the DM and he's running pregens as it's a one shot, but there seems to be 1 slot still possibly open

Hey Lyness. Yes, I would be interested. Sundays would work for me. Out of curiosity, when on Sundays do you normally play (morning, afternoon, evening?) and what medium are you playing through (teamspeak, skype, etc.). Just FYI August 23 I most likely will not be available. Wanted to let you know in case that impacts your decision. What classes do you have already?
