Character Proficiency Training

Is there a way to track time and money spent on training for a proficiency within FG (ie. Herbalism) for a character wishing to do so or should this be tracked manually ?

You could set up an action which had a number of "uses per day" and then tick these off. Each tick could represent a day, week, month or whatever as well as a portion of the gold cost.

EDIT: Actually this isn't a good idea since it would get reset every time the player took a long rest. Go with what Kylania said below to keep track of things.

Players can create Notes as well to use for this kind of tracking within a campaign.

We did the notes thing, thanks. I was hoping this was written in, but understandably there are bigger fish to fry

This is probably something you could do via an extension I bet? Maybe take a look at the Adventurer's League extension and see how to add a tab and data storage?
