Hello

Just installed FG demo from steam on my mac (new laptop) I can create a demo campaign and it goes fine but when I try to log into my DMs game I get this msg :

Script Error: [string "scripts/LauncherProperties.lua"]:171: bad argument #3 to 'startClient' (string expected, got nil)

and then a "connecting" msg which seems to never load

Help would be great thank you

What kind of license does your GM have? Are you the only demo connecting to it? Which ruleset is he running?

ultimate license dnd 5e.

I click "join game" and type the name of the campaign (which works on my bad laptop)

Make sure you have a name in the user name field, and a valid IP address, alias or "localhost" in the server field. I have sometimes seen this when I mix them up.

Sounds like the problem is on the host end.

Thank you all sorted, the restart update & timing with the host fixed the problem.

Again thanks
