[One Shot] Primeval Thule - 5e - Cavern of Golden Tears - Sun 2 August - 2000 GMT+1

Primeval Thule is currently Kickstarting for 5e (https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/809579963/primeval-thule-5e). I plan to run one of the included adventures. I will be adapting the adventure from the Pathfinder book to 5e.


Three days ago you left Quodeth in search of a legendary ruined city and a cavern of gold in the jungles of the Ghan Peninsula. Yesterday you left your boats at a small landing on the banks of the Ghan River, but at dawn beastman scouts picked up your trail. Scores of savage warriors are pursuing you through the jungle. You can hear them grunting and hooting to each other behind you, while sudden flights of jungle birds and the sounds of thrashing brush makes it clear more are closing in.

I can provide pregens or players can create they're own PCs (I will need player created PCs by midnight (GMT+1) Saturday). Calendar entry can be found here (https://www.fantasygrounds.com/calendar/index.xcp?id=1534).

The pregens are as follows (all level 3):

Human Barbarian (Berserker)
Human Rogue (Assassin)
Human (Variant - Leader) Rogue (Swashbuckler)
Human (Variant - Sharpshooter) Spelless Ranger (Beast Master)
Human (Variant - Healer) Fighter (Defense) (Battle Master)
Human (Variant - Ritual Caster) Barbarian (Totem Warrior)

Feel free to reserve on a first come first served basis :)

Severin, happy to have you along, feel free to create a PC, however please stick to the following restrictions (mine not Primeval Thule's):

Race - Human including human variant
Class - No magic using classes (Unearthed Arcana classes and sub classes are allowed)
Feats - All are allowed, including magic using feats

(These are my restrictions, to increase the flavour of the game, not restrictions of Primeval Thule)

I'll probably be using the swashbuckler, I won't be having much time to be delving into 5e character creation.

I haven't played 5e althought I have skimmed trought the basic rules.


Also in 20 years of intermitent plays of Roleplay I haven't once been a player character, so it's going to be a first! :)

Hey, I've never heard of Thule but downloaded that free thing. Also, I've never done a one-shot, but I am interested in seeing what one is like. I would do a pregen to stay in theme. The spelless Ranger would be my pick if that is ok.

That's not what the game calendar (https://www.fantasygrounds.com/calendar/?id=1536) is showing - it's showing 19:00 GMT+1. (UK is currently in daylight savings and is at GMT+1).
