PC and Mac (Steam) compatable

Hello. I cant seem to find anything on this subject. I am trying to host on a pc and have one of my players join on a macbook via steam. Is this possible? If not what are the rules when it comes to cross platform compatibility?

Hi Jamesr10 - there is no issue with Mac connecting to PC and Vice Versa, or connecting Steam to FGStore product either.
The Mac version is actually a PC version in a WINE wrapper.
Is your connection test working on the Host computer?

Hey thanks for the response. Yes the connection test is all good. I've even had a friend on a pc join my pc hosted campaign. And that works fine. But, both my macbook and my friends macbook have not been able to connect, both using steam for mac..

Hey Jamesr10 - for your Mac - if its on the local network - connect to your Internal IP Address and not the Alias or External IP.
What address is your friend connecting to?

Ah ok. That worked. As for my friend he was using my external Ip, which worked on his pc but not him mac. I may have been doing something wrong I guess. Thanks for your help!
