D&D Complete Core Class Pack - Steam + Mac

Hi Guys,

Sorry if this is the wrong forum to ask this, but i'm considering buying Fantasy Grounds via Steam on Mac & the Upgrade.

However, the D&D Complete Core Class Pack & Monster Pack list as only working on windows. Is that right? Is there any way to get those packs working under Mac if i'm using steam?

Fantasy Grounds runs on a Mac and in fact it is recommended you purchase and run it through Steam for easier installation and running (you can install and run under WINE); see here (https://www.fantasygrounds.com/features/systemreqs.xcp). As far as the Packs go they require Fantasy Grounds to run, so it doesn't matter to them which OS you are using. The Steam page for the packs is slightly misleading in this respect; however it is recommended that packs be purchased direct from the FG store rather than Steam.

The DLC packs can not be installed through Steam on a Mac, since FG runs in a virtual machine on Mac and thus can't communicate with Steam client.

However, you can just buy directly through FG store and enter your FG login in the FG settings to add DLC on the Mac.
