if I upgrade to the Ultimate and have players with the free license as PCs, is there a way that I can create the PCs as pregen sheets? Like you would find at a convention? Or do the players have to fill in their sheets manually or wait til they connect to me to drag and drop from my PHB?
Thanks

chrisiav you can create everything for the players. Just launch the Character window and create a new Character. Its not a bad idea to export these as XML when done so you can re-use them later on if needed.

I even export pre-gen packs to a module so they can easily be used for different campaigns or con games.

This is a very handy feature of the module export functionality, that I believe is only available in the Savage Worlds ruleset. For other rulesets exporting the character/s as XML is the main option to transfer them between GM/players and campaigns.

Thanks for the info. I just want to get something clear in my head. If I just want to have pre gens in one campaign (no exporting or xml) I just create the PC sheets, put them in the party window and players can pick the one they want? Or do I need to do something else?

Nope, that's all you have to do. :)

Cool. Thanks. Sorry for the questions. I just saw the info was included in the character mgmt portion of the Wiki
