Deadlands Noir Visual Novel Released - $3.99 on Steam

We just released our first Visual Novel for Deadlands Noir. It was a collaboration between a lot of folks, including Shane Hensley, Sean Patrick Fannon, Harry Mack, Sara and Brendan Quinn, Cheyenne Wright and Aaron Acevedo. IF you loved the old Choose Your Own Adventures, this might be right up your alley.

It would be an interesting exercise to try and do something like a choose your own inside Fantasy Grounds.

I've thought that as well. You could use an approach similar to the D&D board games where the monsters have their actions pre-programmed in a sense. You could then still use the combat automation built in to the various rulesets.

The software we used for this visual novel is better for reading and presenting images and texts, IMO. The ability to add a nice soundtrack in the background was also nice.
