Why can't I drag and drop jpeg files into the images anymore?

You mean images folder? That'd be a Windows issue, not an FG issue.

Dragging from my desktop to the Images & Maps dialog box worked for me just now. (3.1.2 Ultimate Test version)

Working here... it may be a permissions issue as dberkompas suggests...?

it is the campaign, for some reason ... it works if i open a new campaign and then drag and drop ...

Try launching FG as an administrator.

What's the exact name of the campaign? Are there any non alphanumeric characters?

Are you running any extensions in the existing campaign?
