Hey everyone,

I'm trying to uninstall FG II and then reinstall due to some bonehead file deletions made by my roommate. How do you uninstall everything and start from scratch?

Also, I can join games, but I can't host. I have AT&T U-Verse with a wifi/router combo unit. Whatever details are needed to fix this, please ask and I will post the answers.

Thanks,

Ray

Thanks. It appears my download link is dead because I connected to it too many times. Sent a message to support asking for assistance... Fun times :(

So, I've gotten the install done. I am trying to figure out how to host a game as a GM. I can connect to others who are hosting/GM.

I'm assuming there is a router issue with AT&T U-Verse. Anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks,

Ray

Have you opened up TCP Port 1802 for Inbound connections one your Router? If not, check out how to do so on the PortForward Website (https://portforward.com/english/applications/port_forwarding/Fantasy_Grounds/default.htm)

Cheers

Thanks for the suggestion Dulux-Oz. I followed the instructions to add port 1802. Seems like everything went through, but when I tested the connection using Fantasy Grounds, it still says "FAILURE".

Any other suggestions....?

If your modem can also act as a router, you may need to contact AT&T to get them to open the port on the modem as well.

"Thank you for calling AT&T Worldnet service, my name is John. May I please get the name and phone number with area code your account is registered under?"

Ah... brings back memories.
