Any chance I could get some of y'all to take a look at my tutorial, tell me where it's wrong, or needs improvement? It's way too long for just part one, but hopefully it's got the details needed for people just getting into FG.

Well done jreddin1 - there is a LOT of info in there thats for sure. Ive only dipped into it but one thing that I think would be useful is a diagram with the various components linked to each other - wndowclass and its definitions, the extension.xml and all teh include files, the desktop icon etc.
I think you could and probably should do it less verbosely - it will make parts 2 and 3 easier to write too :)
Just my 5c worth. I look forward to reading it more fully.
