Having issues with Fantasy Grounds on Steam

For some reason It is not allowing me to save Characters or Campaigns on Steam's Version of FG.
can anyone give me a helping hand and some pointers on FG itself since i'm use to just using pen and paper/

Sounds like you either haven't entered your licence key in the settings screen or it isn't recognising it.

Open FG and click the "settings" button. Make sure you have your licence key entered in the "License Key" section. Press OK and then run an update - you must run an update after entering your licence key to ensure your version is the correct one for your key.

ok ill give that a shot then... thanks. good thing i have all my chars backed up on https://charactersheet.co.uk/pathfinder/#/
so its really easy to transfer them over lol
