Does Complete Monster Pack update Lost Mines Monsters?

I've already bought the 'Lost Mines' adventure and I'm considering buying the Complete Monster pack. My question is when I buy the monster pack and update FG will the Lost Mines adventure monsters automatically update to the same monster from the monster pack, or do I have to manually update the adventure to use the monsters from the monster pack?

The LMoP has all of the NPC/Monster statblocks within the module. There are no links to the MM. If you wanted to update the creatures within LMoP to those in the MM you'd have to do it manually. If you use the encounters (which you should) you could update the encounters to use the different creature links to the MM by dragging the new creatures into the encounter - but you'd have to re-do the token placement links.

I'd recommend you watch the whole video (less than 5 minutes) as it essentially shows what you're going to have to do for each encounter:

Add creatures to the encounter from MM.
Add tokens if not present.
Place tokens for the new creatures on the relevant maps.
Remove the old creatures when you want to.

Doing this in the original encounter (i.e. not creating a new one) should keep all of the original links from the maps and story entries.
