Can 1 player control two PC's during a game?

After all the help you guys have given me, I'm come up with another question. If I want to run two friends through one of the adventures on here (probably Hoard of the Dragon Queen), would it be easy for them to each control 2 different PC's so that their adventuring group has 4 PC's total? We've done this before IRL so it's not a question of if they or we can handle it but is there any sort of limit as to how many characters a player can control during a gaming session?

I haven't gotten very far into the tutorial videos yet so if this is explained in one of those or easy to find else where please let me know.

Yes, a single player can control more than 1 PC - the player just selects which PC to be "active" by clicking on the PC's portrait in the top-left-hand corner of the FG desktop.
