View Full Version : PCs won't populate in Combat Tracker!

I sent an email to support and posted about this on the Facebook page, but so far no one has addressed my technical problem. I need some technical assistance. Everything worked fine until midway through my game 2 nights ago. Now dragging character tokens into the combat tracker does nothing. They don't show up in the combat tracker at all. NPCs still will, but not PCs. Please help!

I don't see anything on our FB page, FB inbox or the [email protected] address, but I'm happy to help you here. Which ruleset are you using and do you have any extensions loaded?

What steps are you taking to populate the CT? Do you drag from the Character Selection window to the Combat Tracker and they don't show up there?

I answered an email about this as well, but I'll post it here for everyone. I'm using 5th edition, pulling the character token from the character sheet just as before. I have downloaded all updates. It worked for me last session, just not this week.

Hi Tony - possibly you have midway through your game dragged tokens from the wrong location. Clear your tokens from the Combat Tracker and Maps. Drag your players from their portraits (top left) onto the Combat Tracker. This links them. Then drag tokens from the Combat Tracker to the Map. This keeps them linked.

We got him squared away. He was dragging from the token and I asked him to drag it from the portrait listing in the PCs window, which worked for him.
