Can anyone tell me why I can't log in to the FG Wiki? When I go to it and select login, it already have my username and password (from here?) but when I enter, it then tells me that no such user exists. I've tried finding a link to create a wiki user, but I couldn't find that either.

Only a certain few persons can edit the wiki so that might be the reason.

Wiki access is for Dev-approved peoples. Is there anything specific that you were looking to add?

That is the reason.

SW have decided (for the time being, at least) to restrict Edit Privileges on the Wiki to a select few - I believe the underlying reason is to help stop misinformation, conflicting information, and just plain spam.

If you want to contribute then write up you "thing" in Word or Open Office Writer and send it to Moon or Doug or Zeus, or run it past me and I'll pass it on/whatever.

Cheers

Ok, no problem.

I was just looking at some of the pages as I learn and figured that I would add/edit as I found things.

For instance, I was going to add a "Summary" to dulux's https://www.fantasygrounds.com/wiki/index.php/Development_Overview since he just jumps into the components and doesn't first give a brief discussion of what components there are or how they relate to one another.

If I come up with stuff of import I will write it up and send it to one of the named people :)

Thats great LordEntrails. If you see things that arent there and you have the time to work something up - look at the format of an existing entry and then forward on what you have written.

If you've got something that you think will improve one of my Articles then send it over and I'll see about incorporating it (& giving credit where its due) :)

Thanks Dulux. I've started drafting an intro to that entry, but need to learn a bit more about FG before I can finish it.

Hey dulux-oz,

I had a couple of adjustments for the 5e conditions page (https://www.fantasygrounds.com/wiki/index.php/5E_Effects), which I expect gets a fair amount of use (I certainly use it a bit).

"Dodge" is a special effect keyword (that automatically gives the character the benefits of the Dodge action), but isn't mentioned anywhere.

Also, ADVADK, GRANTADVATK, DISATK, GRANTDISATK work with Effect Targeting, so probably should have a (T) in the description. The rest, as far as I have tested, are labeled properly regarding whether they respect the Effect Target.

If you could at least adjust the latter part, I'd appreciate it.

Thanks, I've passed it on to the boys at SW for final approval - nice job :)

It would probably be helpful to add a link in the wiki's extension page (https://www.fantasygrounds.com/wiki/index.php/Extensions) pointing to the 5e community extensions thread (https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?22975-5E-Community-extensions) similar to how the D&D 4th edition link is set up.

Done. I fought the Wiki and it nearly won - that linking thing... LOL :p
