1d12+1d8 instead of 1d20 ?

Hi All,

I've been trying to set up the random encounter table for PoTA in my campaign and I can not sort out how to make a table use a 1d12+1d8 instead of a 1d20 roll ? As I am not putting in the whole table, but want it to auto roll the die if an encounter happens.

Right now I have an encounter table with 1-17 = no encounter and I would like to get 18-20 to roll a 1d12+1d8. How can I do this easiest ? Thanks for the help.

Drag and drop a d12 in the dice field.
Drag and drop a d8 in the dice field.
Enter each field.
2-3
4-5
6-7, etc.
or
2-2
3-3
4-4

However you want it to be.

Thanks Mask, For some reason this did not want to allow me to do it earlier. After closing and reopening the table it did work. How would I set this up though to roll a 1d20 and on an 18-20 then roll the 1d12+1d8 ? Is there a code to put in the table (for the 18-20 results) that can then roll additional die ?

You'd have to make another table and drop the link to that entry. Or just make a dice bucket in your hotkey bar.
