Clearing the campaign log

Making sure I don't mess anything up before I do it! So I've been setting up a game for the last week or two, as well as learning FG... the chatlog.html is full of junk atm, and I was hoping to use this log as a record of the campaign. Can I just delete this file in whole and a new one will be created or Can I edit the file and remove all the enteries to clear it out? Just looking for the best way so I don't break anything!

Yes you can delete it without worry. That is what I did in the past and still do. I just need to go through the backlog and pull everything apart.

I just rename it after each session, adding the date. FG creates a new one for the next session, and I have a record of each session.
