Game System: D&D 5E

Time Zone: EDT of United States
Day of week and time: Tuesdays or Thursdays @7pm to last till 10pm
If new game, planned start date: June 16th or 23rd
Planned Frequency: Bi-weekly
Term: Long Term Game planned

Text or Voice: Voice / some text
Voice software used: Teamspeak via FG Servers

Roleplay & Combat mix: 70/30 but may change as game progresses
Number of Players in game & needed: 4 to 6 players needed
Character starting level & equipment: 1st level with starting gold to be rolled for
Character restrictions: Only core classes and races accepted

Details of your scenario: This is a homebrewed setting in a unsettled land.. Your characters have received a royal writ to sail to the city of Candar and attempt to make a life for yourselves.. Game starts with your arrival in Candar along the piers..

** Expectations *** This game is planned to be gridless with some visual aids... A full license is preferred but not necessary... Be prepared to Roleplay and have Bgs for your characters as some of these may be used for additional Hooks and storylines..

Tuesday or thursday... Can that be changed to monday? I'd like to join this, but tuesday... That's the timeslot of Heroes Path...

Sorry but monday, wednesday and fridays I have obligations that are beyond my control... Every second saturday I am already running a game... So my options are tuesday , Thursday, and Sundays... However Sundays are reserved for family functions by me as well as most others...I may be able to work out a schedule where I alternate the saturday games..If still interested please sign up on the calendar page.. Also this is all up to the group once it is organized...

Thursdays would be awesome. Though tuesdays are fine too.

This would be my first foray into the wonderful world of fifth addition though. Here is hoping it is shiny~

Cool beans. So, shall I share the backstory I've been working on, or should I wait to see if I make it into the party?

Edit: Oh neat! There will be two groups! And here I thought we would have an epic slapfight for character slots~ Anyways, should we share our backstories publicly, or keep it between player and GM, so as to be revealed as we play?

Yes I have an Obsidian Portal page https://candar-5e.obsidianportal.com... There really is not a whole lot of info revealed as yet... But its basically a recently discovered land mass in Forgotten Realms.. The parties will be exploring this new land mass.. So things will be revealed as you explore....

Looking to star either the week of June 16th or June 23rd... I have some work to do in regards to prepping as well as the logistics of running multiple groups through the same campaign..

Is there still room for the Tuesday slot? I'm on PST.

I'm new to Fantasy Grounds and I have ultimate license. I'm also fairly new to D&D. I've been playing 3.5 for less than a year, and I picked up DM'ing last month.
I've wanted to try 5e, but I wanted to experience how it is to be a player first.
