Had a player not able to see maps images

Had 4 players tonight, one of them could not see a map.
He also could not see images very small.

3 maps blank 4 small less than 25k images.

The one map he could see popped up for him when I set the grid.

All are coming up blank, other 3 had no issues.

Just wondering if it sounded like an issue folks had seen before.

I have GM all players have the old player keys.

Have played in many games now have not seen this happen before.

Will work with him this weekend, guess I will start with clearing cache, just in case.

That happened to me once as a player when the default location for my app data folder was a cloud. Google drive to be more specific.

We noticed an issue that will be addressed in v3.1.0 where user names with non-alphanumeric characters were preventing image transfers. What was the user's login name?

also user may be on a wireless connection that is dropping too many packets. this might not be causing visible issues in other applications but is in FG.
if she is using a wireless connection see if they can move closer to the wifi to get a better signal.

Clear the cache. And, as Mask mentions, check that they're not pointing their FG app data folder to a cloud sync/backup system (Google, Drop Box, One Drive, etc.) this has been known to corrupt FG live data.

Should have been no cloud involved but again will check.

Connection was fine over ventrilo, but will look into it as well.

OK Nuked, Changed User name.

I see his Char in the left corner, so he should have the map. Right?

The Battle maps in FG do work but none of my stuff does, though others see it.

Even tried Pre Load but did not work.

Small images 50k up to 600k none work.

No Google or Dropbox.

Having him uninstall the whole thing and reinstall now, but at a lost for the issues.
Chat works, rolls work just no images showing.

There was at least one build of FG available here or on Steam that had some file system permissions issues... possibly that was it. Im glad you got it sorted.
