Questions involving text strings

. I know there are Text strings to hit and damage. Are there ones for Initiative and disadvantage or advantage? To be more to the point is there a list of text strings available for NPC creation, and if so how do I access that list

I presume you are talking about effects on the combat tracker? Yes there are effects for Initiative, advantage and disadvantage. See the Wiki entry here: https://www.fantasygrounds.com/wiki/index.php/5E_Effects

When a monster is dropped on the combat tracker its effected are automatically parsed by FG. To get your monster to have the same type of effects look at a monster that has the same trait and copy the wording. Basically, you want to use the same words WotC does.

Not to make them automatically add to the combat tracker when you add the NPC to the CT. This same question was asked recently here: https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?24289-Initial-Effects-on-NPCs Even though it's for the 3.5E/PF ruleset the same principals apply to the 5E ruleset.
