I've had no issues with previous updates, but this last patch is having issues. I update to 3.0.13, but as soon as I close it goes back to 3.0.12. My last option is to reinstall, but I figure I would ask the smart guys before going to such lengths.

Sounds like you might still have an instance of FG running. Reboot and try again.

If that doesn't work, close FG and run the updater directly from the FG installation directory - run it as administrator.

No dice, even triple checked task manager after a reboot.

Where are you seeing 3.0.12? In the chat window when the rulesets load? If so, this is fine as the rulesets weren't updated in 3.0.13.

They see it in the FG launcher where the license type is. The GM also gets the mismatch version warning when he logs in. I'm one of the GMs, though he's had it in several games since the update. He's not the only person I know to encounter this either. One is stuck on 3.0.10.

Edit: Upon trying to update, both players in my game last night reported that the updater ran almost instantly, updating no files but changing the version number to 3.0.13 on their launcher.

The latest update 3.0.13 is only for the launcher. Rulesets & modules should still report 3.0.12 as latest version (its the number you see inside FG)

We are not talking about a ruleset or module. And one of the players is stuck on 3.0.10 after repeated updates.

Manually run UpdaterEngine.exe as administrator from the FG executable directory (usually Program Files (x86)\Fantasy Grounds).

If this doesn't update the executable to 3.0.13 then delete FantasyGrounds.exe from the same directory and manually run UpdaterEngine.exe as administrator again.
