View Full Version : 3.5E/PFRPG - Multiple damage types not applied if dragged from chat window

I've just noticed this issue.

If a damage roll with multiple damage entries in the same roll (e.g. base damage plus energy) is not applied directly via targeting or drag/dropping then when the damage is dragged from the chat window it lumps all of the separate damage entries into one entry. This means that DR/resistances/immunities etc. aren't tracked properly for this type of damage result being dragged from the chat window.

See the example below - the target has DR:5 slashing, so should absorb 5 points of the Amoeba's slam, but none of the damage:

The base damage entry - slam (bludgeoning) plus acid. This was targeted before the roll so the DR is applied correctly - the bludgeoning is resisted, but the acid gets through.
When the same damage result entry is dragged to the same target, FG treats all of the damage as bludgeoning and so all is absorbed by the DR.
