Effects - idea

Starting to look at 5e in some detail, I am surprised that somebody has not come up with the idea of a Effects Generator.

In otherwords a form that opens that has clickable options allowing you generate the Effects string which could be either copy and pasted into an Effects field or dragged and dropped. In effect a dummies guide to building effects.

It's been mentioned occasionally in the past. It "just" needs someone to do the work...

I'd like to move the whole system away from strings, and towards editable form-like options. However, it's a rather largish ruleset modification, and may impact the ruleset in unexpected ways.

It's on my list to look at, but it's a large task.

Something on a smaller scale could be done to write an extension with a special window that generated the strings.
