Will be running City of Danger Episodes 1-3. Signup for this game will be handled using the new Online Adventurers League Tools at www.alonlinetools.net (https://www.alonlinetools.net). You can still post any questions about the game in this forum.
City of Danger

On the southern shores of the Moonsea, the residents of Mulmaster have eked out a living where others would likely have given up long ago—in a bleak city where corruption is rampant and the Church of Bane holds sway. In these five short, introductory adventures, you will travel the breadth of the City of Danger, meet its people, see its sights, and witness firsthand how the city truly has earned its ominous moniker. An introductory adventure for 1st-2nd level characters.

Lol. Sorry about that. The AL online group on Facebook will shortly be announcing daily games that should hopefully get you going! Keep an eye out. I will link to the announcement once David has finalized the details.

Hey I've never participated in AL and am very interested in starting. I'm fairly comfortable with FG and D&D 5e (though most of my DM/Player experience is on Tabletop ad&d 2e). Is there a way to get my feet wet without looking like a complete noob or is it just a baptism by fire type of deal. Thanks, any advice is appreciated

Hi DM,

Here are a few suggestions.

Regarding the Adventurers League, here are some suggestions:

Read the Adventurers League Players Guide https://media.wizards.com/2015/downlo...DALPG_EEv1.pdf (https://media.wizards.com/2015/downloads/dnd/DDALPG_EEv1.pdf). This has character creation and campaign rules.
Keep a player log. There's a form at https://media.wizards.com/downloads/d...LgLogsheet.pdf (https://media.wizards.com/downloads/dnd/DnDAdvLgLogsheet.pdf) but there are others.
Watch some Fantasy Ground and 5e tutorial videos. There are many examples on Youtube as well as here at https://www.fantasygrounds.com/wiki/i...stem_Tutorials (https://www.fantasygrounds.com/wiki/index.php?title=Videos#Game_System_Tutorials)
Create your character in either pdf or Fantasy Ground format to send to your DM.
Join a game! Adventurers League game announcements are found at https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forum...-Announcements (https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?23765-Game-Announcements)
If you have any questions after all that -just ask. But really, the easiest way to get into the swing of things is to join a game.

Wit more specific comment on FG - FG is fairly easy to pick up as a player once you get a couple rounds of skill checks and combat under your belt. However, the following tutorial videos are very helpful:

1. Making a character using the official 5e modules (requires purchase): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nurEMR4JJeU
2. Manually creating a character (puchase not required): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f-POluSDHAc
3. How to export your pc (about the 10:50 mark in the video) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BG9ovku3T48
4. Player Intro: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=80a8xuONrj0&list=PLePiBJtKmjLn5IzhpakEcVqAHoYfezZbe
