Character Token Disappeared

One of my player's character has lost it's token. It was there and working when we played last night, but this morning it's no longer on character sheet, nor is it displayed on the combat tracker, and it's also disappeared from the map we were using last night.

The character's token should be the same as his portrait, which is still showing. I've tried changing the portrait, which normally also replaces the token, but no joy.

I tried exporting the character, deleting and re-importing, but this didn't work either :(

open character selection window and character sheet.

drag character from character selection window on to the Token section and this will re-add Portrait as Token.
