You may already know that i made a black crusade ruleset and even lesser known, a Deathwatch rule set. Well in a fury of inspiration i decided to revamp the two of them. And while i was at it i made a brand new Only War ruleset!

Sadly, i cant upload it due to technical internet issues for another week. (Maybe less if lucky) but here are some screen shots of Black Crusade v4.05 and Only War v1.0. You will have to wait to see Deathwatch, tomorrow maybe.

Good news everyone!

Had a breakthrough last night! Suffice it to say, the old pre 3.2 FG update rulesets are now breathing life again!

With in the next few weeks (or sooner) you can be warring it up in the Grim Dark future; as Imperial Guard, Death Watch, or my favorite, Chaos!

Based on the award winning Dark Heresy rulest by Paul Pratt!!

I know there are differences with weapon qualities and a few other things that effect the code. If you need me to get in there and fix those up for these rule sets just shout at me. I'd be glad to help get these back up.

Black Crusade Ruleset = 95%
DeathWatch Ruleset = 60%

what kind of game is Warhammer 40k in FG, I never really got into the whole miniatures battle thing. Although I do love the story of Warhammer. The Emperor of humanity, sitting on the golden thrown, slowly dying from betrayal. Great story.

What's the roleplay vs Combat mix?

Its actually a fully developed rpg by Fantasy Flight Games. They have 6 settings, Dark Heresy 1 and 2, Rogue Trader, Death Watch, Black Crusade, and Only War. They just recently went out of print though. But I think its a really good system and setting to Role Play on.

If I owned the books, I probably would have. But I dont.. I tend to only work on the games I personally own..

I have been tempted to do DH2, I even own it. But all my players despise it. So the will on my part is lacking. Is there a player base for DH2 here on FG?

Funny in my games we use all the systems, Rogue Trader, Deathwatch, Only War, and Black Crusade, but we play using the DH v1 rules.

I think DH2 is great, and would love a ruleset for it (my group currently shoehorns DH1) but even that is fine. A few things you needa tweak manually and keep some notes, but really I'm just stoked that these rulesets are still getting love, cause there needs to be more games in the Grimdark Future

The changes to bring my DH1 to DH2 aren't much weapon or rules wise. The largest is the psy sheet. I know the basic success counting is different, and weapon qualities. What else are you finding? Please PM me. No need to hijack this thread.

If I did DH2, it would align many rulesets. We could actually consolidate to one master ruleset with either extensions for graphics, or checkbox for system like the old WoD rules used to do. What do think?

Actually you DH rulset covers everything from DH, RT, and DW. While DH2 should cover DH2, BC and OW iirc.

The use of extensions would make it much easier to keep everything updated.
