Hey guys - does anyone know if there's a way to control token z-index? I recently purchased some maps from D20 Cartographers, and they give you hundreds of great furniture and other place-able tokens - but man it can be tricky getting them at the right height on a map.

Anyone have any hints?

There's no current way to control Z-index of tokens placed on images. The lowest token is always selected first when clicking/dragging.

There's an Enhanced Images community developed extension floating around on the forums that sets up a kind of layering that might be useful.

Unfortunately Enhanced Images extension is not 100% compatible with Savage Worlds. If you use that extension you will lose SW related map features like custom templates (SBT, MBT, LBT, Cone), map scale etc. Personally I am preparing my maps before using them in FG with alternative applications, one of my favorite is Tiled (https://www.mapeditor.org/)

Some people like to run things on the fly. I miss the enhanced image extension. I have all these mapping objects and furnishing set up as tokens but can't use them anymore. :(
