View Full Version : Battle Master seems to be missing something

we were looking through the fighter DLC and it lists the battle master but there are no links to any maneuvers and it doesn't look like there's a mechanic for Superiority dice...

or is this in a different DLC?

All of the manoeuvres are listed under Combat Superiority - at least they are in mine, although I have the whole caboodle. Now, one thing have you updated your client? There have been a couple of updates and it could be that was something that was missed in the original issue but which has now been resolved.

What kind of mechanic were you looking for? There isn't anything built in but you can certainly create the effects in the actions tab for superiority dice and for most of the manoeuvres as well. Just add an effect DMG:1d8 and drag that onto whichever character is getting the superiority dice before they make the roll and it will add in a d8 roll when they make the damage roll.

Yes i update my client every time I launch it. let me check to see if the manuvers are where you said you found them. i don't have the whole classes package... yet... just the fighter pack.

Yes, that is where the maneuvers should be. There were problems but I don't know if it's the same as what you are experiencing. Check out this thread https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?23782-D-amp-D-Complete-Core-Classes-Data-Patch-1 and see if that works. Make sure you close and open the class pack after you update. If that doesn't help then you might have to delete the pack from your mod folder and then run another update to force it to reload. Beyond that I'm at the limit of my knowledge I'm afraid.

yeah it shows that manuevers were fixed in the classes pack. they probably have to move those fixes to the individual class pack as well and just haven't done it yet.

No, they never were. The OP was noting that the actual manoeuvres were missing entirely from the class pack. I believe that has now been fixed.
