Hi,
I just saw this on Steam and was kinda curious. I play with my family, but only a few times a year, and will probably not increase that amount. I did like the look of the software, and was curious if its possible to use it as a campaign manager and make adventures and save them in this? Also, I would probably like to print my adventures and sit with them as well as the character sheets.

Is this the wrong software for it? If so, is there any recommendation for other software that lets me create adventures and characters for printed use?

Thanks in advance!

Its not the right software for what you want.
There is no commercial product for this at this time.

You can print your characters made in FG here: https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?22440-5E-Character-sheet-from-XML/page5
But cant really print your adventures.

Check out Realmworks by Lone Wolf (https://www.wolflair.com/realmworks/) for the campaign management, that is probably what you are wanting.

Thanks both of you for the quick replies.

Nylanfs - that looks exactly like what I was looking for, if a tad less good looking when compared to Fantasy Grounds. Anyways -thanks again!

No problem, FG can be used for face to face games if you have access to a large TV or a projector. There's a couple of threads in the general section on people looking into this.

I don't think Realmworks has a printing option at this point.

It is also really designed to be used within its own framework.

Very true but it is amazing how quickly you can track things down once you start building up a realm.

RW is not bad at all/
The Auto linking and Alias use helps keep track of stuff.

Being able to reveal to a single person is close to the top of the list right now, as of today you can only reveal things to the entire group.
When that change happens it will be much more useful to me.

All that with the calendar system means you can look back and see when some one found out about a certain item or clue.

Like FG it means inputting your world into the sw, but I have found it useful already.

One day it will have a market that may see data from RPG companies as well as individuals.

The Player view is great ATM, when not running a game, but the time in between for them to keep up with stuff review notes and what the GM has told them.
As the GM must update then resync to push the data to players, I do not find it as good for players during the game.

The GM can use it to update notes during the game then afterwards push those updates to players.

Learning curve is a bit high and they have changed a few major things will little notice, one can hope lessons were learned.

Supposed to be in the works, but time will tell.
