Hi!
I was wondering if FG did any downsampling or rastering to the maps that I load. I found that a map that looks perfectly fine in Irfanview becomes pixelated when displayed and zoomed in FG:

Edit: Ok, I found out that there was "Resample on Zooming" enabled in Irfanviewe which makes it looking much smoother. So not FG's fault. But I did that experiment in the first place because I find the Maps in the LMoP module to be really Low-Res. Wouldnt it be possible to give it a little better resolution with the next update?

The maps are all at 50 or 35px per square. Some of the outdoor squares are 10' as well.
It would be nice if they were all 50px. I try not to use high res images myself to keep load times and memory usage all fast.

Yes, it's advisable to try and keep images below 3mb (for people that have slow upload/download).

Probably they can add some interpolation algorithm to make it look "less digital". Probably not to hard to accomplish, though I do not know anything about the rendering engine that FG uses.
Maybe that thing needs an overhaul anyway, I find the fonts also quite pixel-ish, not so easy on the eyes...
