Hey there everyone! So, I just got this thing on steam, and after having some problems with the UpdaterEngine file bugging out, which I fixed on my own, I've finally managed to start the game. Unfortunately, I have no idea how to use it, and I don't know anyone who plays it, so I'd like to ask if anyone on these forums is willing to play anything with me.

I have some experience with nWoD (specifically the Vampire side of the series), and a bit with (somewhat customized) 3.5e D&D, but not much else. So if anyone is GMing/DMing a story and has room for another player, I'm here! I may ask a few questions (possibly tens of them), but generally I understand how these RPGs work.

One thing though, is that I may get irritated a bit at my insanely bad luck, having previously rolled three 1s in a row at some point, and another time rolling 5 times, and 3 of them were 5 or below. (Not to mention the times I played games where the system was inverted, and consistently got between 6-10 on d10s and 10-20 on d20s. I may also get irritated by some silly mechanics such as multi-hit weapons counting as having 2 weapons in 3.5e, considering I like to use dual-bladed scythes and other crazy weapons designed for combos, but I'm hoping everyone here will be a bit more flexible in their rules.)

Well, yeah, thats about it. Thanks for reading this and maybe even considering adding me to some of your games!
~Halo

P.S.: I've noticed some people put their timezone in here, so mine is EST, I'm usually on between 5 PM and 7 AM, my steam is [TFT] CthulhuHalo, I have a TS3 server we could use if we need voice chat and don't have one, or I have Skype if you want to message me for it.

The convention is on in around 10 days, it's a great place to try out random 1 shot games to see how they fit for you. You might also find a DM who needs a player.

Heh, thanks everyone, but that's still another 10 days away. Hoping a GM/DM sees this though, and the sooner I can play the better, even a one-session story or something would make FG worth the 40 dollars I spent on steam. :D

Welcome CthulhuHalo as you probably know fro your real world experience RP sessions require both prep and a group of players. They generally take some time to setup. There are not many drop in or pick up games run around here typically. I suggest that you use the New Posts link at the top of this page regularly and you express your interest with GMs that post games. You are more likely to find a game by applying direct.
