Help: Rolling against DC

New to FG here... how does a DM set a DC prior to telling a PC to roll against it so that the result says success or fail based on the result plus mod.

I just look at the results and say whether the players pass or fail.

There isn't a way to set a DC of a roll before the player makes it. As Skellan says, just look at the result of the roll and adjudicate pass or fail.

You can set up auto saves in a PC power - right-click, select "Add Action" and then "Add Cast" and setup the save parameters. However, this is just for creatures targeted by this PC and the roll is done automatically.

You can also set a target DC for group rolls from the Party Sheet. But this is for group PC rolls made by the GM.
