Hello.

First a little about meself:

I'm 36 yo dude, who used to play AD&D 2nd ed. back in the day with my friends.
I live in Denmark but my English is decent enough so that should not be a hindrance.
Timezone CET+1 (+2 DST), and prefer to play in the evenings or early nights.

I haven't played much of any RP in 20 years or so and am therefore a bit rusty. I'm sure it'll come back to me, once the RP-juices starts flowing again.
I would love to learn more about the workings of Fantasygrounds and not really fussed about what ed. As long as its D&D, I'm good.

Let me know if anyone has a spot open for an oldtimer like me and ready to be patient while explaining everything to me.
I do not currently own a license to Fantasygrounds, and I would prefer a few "freebie" sessions before forking out money for this. But If I have a good time and feel Im learning something, I'll more than likely buy a license and physical copies of the rulebooks as I need them.

Thank you for reading my post and please let me know if you think you can accommodate me.

-RogueDK.

Have a look at https://www.fg-con.com/events - dont limit yourself to D&D and Pathfinder - I think you will find some fun stuff there.

Thanks.
I'm not planning on limiting myself to Pathfinder, but I have to start somewhere. Thanks for the link.

Castles&Crusades is a great old school D&D variant too.

I'm running a DnD 3.5 campaign right now, I'm utterly new to fantasy grounds and am playing with a close friend so we'd be as patient as they come, you're schedule should match up with ours. PM me on here if you don't mind jumping in a bit past the start, PC is at lvl 3 right now.

First of all I don't want to look like Im graveposting here, but I might as well reply to my own thread instead of making a new one, right?

Second: I would like to thank the people that have taken the time to contact me about games and advice, sadly I still haven't found a group to play with so still looking.
One misunderstanding I would like to clear up is about pathfinder. I did not know this was a separate ruleset. I think I would enjoy this as much as "real" D&D. Doubtless there are others I'm clueless about, so feel free to take my OP about only wanting D&D with a grain of salt. Anything Fantasy will do. I basically just want to learn as much about Fantasy Grounds as possible and spend some time having fun. The ruleset is not that important.

Again sorry for graveposting. Let me know if someone has something they need a player for.

Did you try Hennet?
Castles & Crusades is what Ive done 90% of my Fantasy Grounds gaming with - its a great old school D&D ruleset.
