Greetings and salutations friends,

Today I just discovered such a nice opportunity exists when I saw a live game played on youtube. It is just wonderful.

Alas, I am completely new to this concept so I'll be needing guidance at the beginning such as; do I need a Demo license because the DMs that want me in their games all have Ultimate license or should I buy a Player version?

I am quite familiar with 5E rules (already playing with my mates in my town, custom campaign) and I'd like to join a beginner adventure for 5E. But any other 2nd edition or DCC would make me happy as well.

My timezone is GMT+2 so it would work better with European friends, not good timing for players from USA. I can join the game on any evening/night except Friday and Saturday nights. For day time, Saturday and Sunday are ok.

I'd like a role playing concentrated group, I enjoy it more than a combat-heavy session.

I could play any character but my preferred characters are Bard, Fighter, Wizard/Sorceror.

Hope I could find a nice group.
Thanks.

Welcome toobuy, if your GM has an Ultimate license you dont need to buy a license. If you like it we hope you will buy a license to support the platform though :)
Have you checked out https://www.fg-con.com/events - we have an online Fantasy Grounds convention running in 4 weeks time with lots of great games including DCC and 5E.
Also there are a couple of Castles&Crusades campaigns running or starting that have room for another player.

I am running the (currently) lone DCC RPG adventure for FG Con on April 17 at 8:30 pm EST (GMT-5). You are welcome to join us. It's just a one-shot, so no long term commitment, no license needed.

I am thinking about running a 5e campaign for the Elemental Evil series, would be beginner-friendly and I have an ultimate license (so you would still not need a license). That wouldn't get going for a couple months though. Keep your eye on the forums, it sometimes takes awhile to find a game.

Thanks for the info,
I checked the con site and applied for a game. But I also look for games that will run long.

Thanks for the invite leozelig, I'd love to join but GMT-5 is not good for me.
